Beneath the Surface

Blog Post 20:

Last night I found myself revisiting a question that had crossed my mind before, but one I had never explored in any real depth with the ETs.

As the ships moved through the night sky, I wondered once more whether they ever came down to the surface.

It was quite an active evening. Over the course of the session, easily more than a dozen ships came by. Several times there were three or more visible in the sky at once, moving through different parts of the heavens.

I felt I could have stayed outside for hours, but unfortunately, family life has a way of setting priorities. My daughter came out and told me she was waiting for her bedtime books, and that particular responsibility always comes first. Eventually I had to leave the sky behind, head inside, read stories, and help my little girl settle down for the night.

Before I went in, however, one particular ship caught my attention. It made a slow, deliberate flyby, brightly illuminated as if wanting to be seen. It wanted something and I knew this was some prolonged data rather than a simple yes or no.

I've spoken before about learning to communicate with them. It remains one of the most challenging aspects of this journey. The exchanges rarely involve words, but occasionally they do and these communications are clear, vivid and undeniable. However, usually they arrive as impressions, feelings, and fragments of understanding that slowly assemble themselves into something meaningful. For me, anyway, it feels like data sifting through a mental filter.

As the ship passed overhead, I explained what I was trying to do. I was attempting to understand the information being communicated. I wanted to know whether they ever came down to the surface.

The feeling I received suggested yes, but there was more to it than that. I sat quietly with that answer, turning it over in my mind, letting it sink in. I knew there was a piece missing, something I hadn't fully grasped.

Then, suddenly, the idea arrived.

"In the water!"

The moment I spoke the words, a bright streak crossed the sky. The timing was immediate and emphatic.

Yes.

The realisation opened an entirely new line of thought for me.

Throughout UFO history, there have been numerous reports of objects entering the ocean, emerging from lakes, or disappearing beneath the water's surface. Researchers often use the term USO (Unidentified Submerged Object) to describe such encounters. This immediately brought to mind the recent work of Richard Dolan, one of the more thorough and respected researchers in the field. He has compiled hundreds of accounts involving unexplained objects observed in oceans, rivers, and lakes around the world.

The oceans cover most of our planet. Vast regions remain unexplored. Entire mountain ranges exist on the seafloor. There are places beneath the waves that humans have barely seen. If advanced intelligences are present here, the oceans would certainly offer space, privacy and protection from constant observation.

This also made me wonder whether we sometimes ask the wrong questions. When people think about unusual visitors, nearly everyone looks toward the sky. This time, I had the hard surface of land in mind. Perhaps a large part of the story has always been hidden beneath the waves and closer to home than we ever imagined.

For now, it remains another piece of the puzzle and another question worth exploring.
