Dusk, Orbs, and an Unexpected Voice

Blog Post 14

Dusk has become a kind of ritual for me — the quiet half‑hour when the sky softens and the world feels porous. Most evenings I go outside alone, but this night my daughter came with me. She’s curious, and unafraid in a way I find refreshing and promising. She’s at an age where she’s untainted with too much cultural baggage and biases.

We sat there together watching the sky, and sure enough, a few of the small white orbs drifted past — low, deliberate, silent. They came at different altitudes, one of them quite close and almost hovering just metres directly overhead. They stood out nicely against the darkening skies. She saw them when I pointed them out. There was something grounding about that: a shared moment, a shared reality, no need for explanations or disclaimers. Just two people watching something unusual glide across the fence line like it was just checking in. I think it was my daughter’s presence that they found interesting. That felt like the drawcard.

Later, we both went inside and I sat down to meditate for a bit. I wasn’t expecting anything. I wasn’t trying to reach out. I was simply letting my mind idle, the way I’ve learned to do. I found I was drifting quite deep and might have been in a zone, so to speak.

And then it happened.

A short telepathic exchange — fast, clean, unmistakable, easing through the quiet and into my consciousness.

It began with me. I was thinking, almost jokingly, but perhaps with some concern as well, “Some people think I’m a bit loud and obnoxious.”

And a lady’s voice — warm, amused, confident — cut straight through the quiet:

“Oh, so who cares!”

This was crystal clear and almost loud, and it jolted me awake. The tone was so casual, so human, and very normal. And it came out of nowhere, like she was standing next to me. Like someone familiar leaning across the kitchen table to reassure you with a grin.

The moment didn’t last long. It flared and vanished, and left me sitting there wondering how something so brief could feel so significant. My eyes had snapped open and suddenly I was wide awake in the present. What the…

But that’s how this whole journey has been: small moments, quiet confirmations, gentle reminders that the world is bigger and stranger than we pretend. I sat with that for a day or two, wondering about it, and the more I did, the more I realised that it was real. A telepathic moment out of nowhere. I was talking to someone and she had a very nice voice that came through in great sounding English, as brief as it was. But who was it?

There was only one way I was going to find out.

I went out into the backyard and asked the aliens. That’s right. If it happened as I thought it did, then they would probably know something about it. How? I don’t know but they usually do.

I said, “This is what I think happened,” and explained it, then asked some questions. A dozen or so ships came past over the next hour or so. It went something like this:

Am I right? — Yes

Was I having a conversation with someone? — Yes

Are they a friend of mine? — Yes

Okay then, it felt like I communicated regularly with this person. What else can I find out?

Is she in Canberra? — No

Oh, now what? How can I find out where she is without just picking random places? Is she in Goulburn or Guatemala? She could be anywhere on the globe. I need to narrow it down a bit.

Is she on the surface of the Earth? — No

Oh.

Is she on the ships? — Yes

Holy cow.

I asked another ship the same thing to see if maybe I had gotten that wrong, but it was the same answer. She was not on the surface and was up in the ships. It turned out I had been communicating with someone in a ship and the communication, as little as I was aware of, was crystal clear.

So it looks like my subconscious has been talking to people while my physical body is sleeping or in a semi sleep-state or meditative state. But what about the time aspect of it? I had been meditating for maybe close to half an hour. Was that even a factor? What happens to the conversation if I’m jolted awake? Does it end abruptly? I couldn’t help wondering about whether time was the same for telepathic contact.

It seemed to me that the implication behind it was these exchanges weren’t random, nor were they one‑offs. They felt like part of something ongoing and something I’m only consciously aware of in tiny fragments, like a paleontologist digging up part of a T-Rex jawbone.

If my subconscious has been communicating while I’m asleep, or in that semi‑dreaming meditative state, then it means the relationship — whatever it is — already exists. I’m probably not starting from zero, I’m remembering from zero.

And that raises more questions that I’m going to have to think about.

Why her? Why now? Why the sudden clarity of that moment? And why did it feel so normal, like talking to someone I’ve known for years? Was it another demonstration by a third party who stepped in?

I don’t have those answers. Not yet. But that felt like a small window opening — just a crack — showing me that there’s more going on behind the scenes than I realise. More connection. More communication. More involvement.

I certainly don’t have all the answers, except that someone unknown to me leant in with some sound advice and essentially told me to snap out of it. I think it was a get a grip moment.

For now, that’s enough to go on and has set me off down another path of exploration.

UPDATE! - (this was added later.)

I’ve just been out the back to chat with the aliens. It looks like I got a few things wrong! This is what I know:

I wasn’t in the conversation, but I was the subject! Two people were speaking about me.

The guy and girl may not have been friendly to me.

The conversation was revealed to me by a third party.

They are not Arcturian, but both are on the ships.

I may know them.

They don’t speak verbal English but it was somehow translated as standard, somewhere in the telepathy process. Because it sounded like clear and perfect English to me.

At the end just before I had to come in, a big ship went past with two lights on, front and back to show me the size, silently and directly overhead. Many ships came by, easily in double figures. Again, my understanding is the weak point here. I’m doing my best to understand and interpret.
